Job Offer Director Medical Nutrition

Our headhunters are currently filling a director position in the Medical Nutrition division for a renowned manufacturer of food and nutritional supplements for people with intolerances. The position is being newly created within the scope of a business development - accordingly, this is an initial appointment.

Strategy and Business Development as Core Tasks

The director will work closely with the Management Board at the company's headquarters, but will also represent the interests of the international company to key accounts, scientific opinion leaders and the European medical community.

Key responsibilities include business development and strategy refinement, initiating application studies, attracting opinion leaders and key accounts for innovative products, and developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies. In addition, the Director of Medical Nutrition will develop strategic partnerships in the DACH region for the start-up of business operations.

Degree in Human Medicine - Pharmacy with MBA Degree

To apply for the position, applicants must have a degree in human medicine, pharmacy or applied biochemistry and biotechnology. However, since the Director of Medical Nutrition will not work as a doctor but will mainly be responsible for strategic and coordinative activities, the employer also requires a successfully completed management qualification - ideally with an MBA degree.

In addition, at least five years of professional experience in the field of nutritional medicine or applied pharmacy as well as expertise in the field of clinical trials and application studies are required. The international company also requires both German and English language skills at C1 level.
