A city in the north of Germany, in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg, is currently looking for a Head of Building Regulations, Monument Protection and Conservation in the Department of Urban Development, Construction and Environment. As a Hamburg-based headhunter, we are assisting the city with the recruitment process.

Vacancy for Head of Office Lower Saxony - Hamburg
Specifically, the Head of the Office for Building Regulations, Monument Protection and Conservation will be responsible for issuing building permits and preliminary building inquiries, as well as monitoring and enforcing building regulations.
In addition, the Head of the Office will advise developers, architects and investors and work closely with heritage authorities and other specialist departments. He or she will also develop and implement a heritage and conservation policy.

For this vacancy, we are looking for staff with a degree in architecture or civil engineering, specialising in building and heritage conservation. Candidates must have relevant professional experience and sound knowledge in the relevant fields. Management experience is also desirable.
